After 2 days, milk and lettuce in the refrigerator compartment were freezing, even though the setting was on medium. The freezer worked intially but by the 4th day items in the freezer were thawing. The repairman ordered a new compressor and evaporator and I am waiting now for repairs to be completed.

good news and bad news. Good news: if the fridge needs to be moved... the wheels make it very easy to do. Bad news: whenever you pull on the door to open the fridge... the wheels cause it to move forward... so, when you close the door... you need to push it back into place.

I picked out my Frigidaire last month based on name and style but I was limited with the amount of space I had to fit a refrigerator. It uses it's capacity very well and I'm very happy with the way it works, however when the compressor fan runs it sounds like a neighbor is using a leaf blower from a distance, which takes some getting used to.

Great refrigerator. Lots of space in the door, and on the shelves. Quiet and looks great. Twice as much space as my old refrigerator and it™™s the same dimension as that one was on the exterior. Very satisfied.

I have had this Fridge for over a year and it is the biggest piece of crap! Everything that you put at the back of the fridge freezes! This is fridge not the freezer! I am attaching the model label. I wish I never bought this piece of crap! The only reason we purchased it is it fit in my house.

So far, so good. Nice 18cf fridge. Very clean lines. Haven't got the phantom ice maker yet. After the reviews I see why it's being redesigned. I hope it improves. The delivery was too brief. Two guys, pulled it out of the truck. Took off most of the foam, including the ones that say DO NOT Remove until in place. They rushed it into the kitchen, halfway set it in place, plugged it in and left. No help. I removed the rest of the tape and packing, a fair amount of it. Let in cool as prescribed. Seems fine. Few fridges have lighted freezers. I put a rechargeable LED in it. Problem solved.

So much roomier and with full shelving in both fridge and freezer - not just a cheap strip of plastic where items can slip through the gaps. I can't believe how much roomier it is and still fit in the space. You do need to keep up with stainless steel polisher to keep the finger prints at bay, but it's a small price to pay.

We're happy with our new refrigerator. It seems more spacious, though it's the same size we've had before. We especially love the large shelves in the door that hold a lot and make it easy to see everything. All glass shelves also seem to hold a lot, and can be adjusted in height. There is no light in the freezer, and we miss that feature from our past refrigerators.

When I was a toddler and my parents built their custom home I remember their pride the day their new Frigidaire refrigerator was delivered. It was the newest model and a vast improvement over what was common for the day. Over the years I have bought many of my own refrigerators. A few years ago I made the mistake of going with a major brand that was not known for kitchen appliances. It cost a lot and I learned dearly from my mistake. Never again. So when I went shopping I told the salesman don™™t even show me anything else, I want a Frigidaire. I quickly learned at most refrigerators are quite large these days but I had a fixed space to fit one in to. It could not be wider, but fortunately it could be taller. The one drawback of the 20 year old (but still working perfectly) Frigidaire that came with the house was the freezer size was much too small. I was pleased to find this model, the FFTR1835VS. It was just as wide as my old one but about 8™ taller, almost all of that being freezer space. All of the similarly sized models from the other brands had substantially smaller freezers. I was sold when I saw the beautiful gently rounded stainless steel front, uninterrupted by handles and hinges. But there was so much more. The freezer shelf can be adjusted to allow a wide horizontal bottom area perfect for frozen pizzas. The regenerator itself was technically the same size as my previous fridge but much better arranged, with wide shelves in the door all the way down, and a sliding deli drawer to allow more versatility. The most important part however is that this model keeps the inside temperature at exactly what I set it at. It is a simple design, and simple is better, no fancy digital displays but the one temperature control knob regulates both the refrigerator and freezer compartments exactly like I want them and keeps them that way. Don™™t be put off by the low price, this is no economy model, I looked at them all and this is the clear cut winner in for its size.

Exactly what I needed. Dimensions a little smaller than some but I am single and rarely fill it more than 30% even with a 2-week food order. Keeps everything the temperature I want and simple to operate. I like the special bins, 1 for deli products, 1 for fruit and 1 for vegetables that keep these items at the right temperature. The only thing I would change is to have adjustable shelves in the door, but my error I didn't notice they were fixed. They are a tad to short for milk bottles. (There is another refrigerator like this one with adjustable shelves in the door). The shelves are adjustable in the body of the fridge. I had a side by side fridge before and I prefer this with the full width freezer so that I can store wider items like pizza. I would definitely recommend.

The frigidaire refrigerator has been working perfectly. It has enough shelving and door storage. The freezer also is roomy. I'm getting use to stainless steel, my first time with stainless steel. I'm hoping to update the rest of my kitchen appliances with frigidaire. In the near future.

Very pretty presence in our home. Wide sturdy shelves in the door so nothing is going to spill out on the floor..Very well lit. With the see through shelves, it is hard to hide my chocolate chip cookies from my teenager, she likes that. Everyone comments on our beautiful new frig. Oh another really nice feature is the spring loaded doors. No more half defrosted food from the door not shut all the way. I chose Frigidaire for their durability reputation. We all love it!

The refrigerator is beautiful however I wanted to add an ice maker to this unit snd the ™universal ™ice maker does not connect to this unit and there is NO ice maker for this unit. Did not know this until the unit was purchased and placed in our home. It took too much work to deliver and put in place. I wasn™™t going to have them remove it. Disappointed !

My refrigerator was delivered on May 5, 2022. By the evening of the 12th, it was no longer cooling. Trying to get it repaired or replaced has been a nightmare!! I have a service appt for June 2. How is that service?? A dead fridge should be a priority, especially one that is under manufacturer's warranty.

Within 24 hours it started making a loud noise; within one week it stopped working intermittently. I was able to swap it out with another unit (same model) due to vendor policy, and now THAT one sounds like the evaporator fan is rubbing against something. I was told that Frigidaire made a good product, but that's not what I'm experiencing.

I chose this refrigerator for two reasons: it was the only model that I could find that fit into the space I had for a refrigerator, with the same (excellent) configuration inside as the refrigerator I was replacing, also a Frigidaire. The previous one lasted about 30 years; this one appears to be not quite as sturdily constructed in that it has thinner plastic drawers, but I like the full glass shelves. The handle slots are odd, but I'm getting used to them, and though they get dirty faster, they are at least easy to clean, and don't stick out. The light is dimmer than I'd like, but it's ok. I put magnets strategically on the front to help camouflage/prevent fingerprints and that's working well. I know the top freezer isn't popular, but I really love it. I'd love it even more if it were a little larger like my previous refrigerator, but if I keep it organized, it works well for me. All in all, a good refrigerator, delivered within a week, reasonably priced.

It's early yet to give a meaningful review, but in general we are satisfied. It's easy to block the ventilation ducts in the back of the freezer. Have to keep pulling the food forward. We hope it gives us many years of maintenance free service, just like our previous Frigidaire, which lasted 20years!
