So far we are very pleased with this range. After having had three other ranges over the last 15 years we opted for less bells and whistles with this model (no convention, bread proofing, or air fry). It heats up extremely fast and the burners have great high output btus with a lot of flexibility for lower heat.

This is a basic gas range which is exactly what I wanted. Everything works great. Only two complaints.1. I cannot hear the timer beep from another room.2. The griddle burner does not work with my large cast iron Lodge reversible griddle/grill pan. Just not enough btu™€™s. I will need to buy a smaller thinner griddle for this to work properly. My big griddle does work over the left two burners.

Only thing I missed on it is that it™€™s not smudge proof, but I found a good product to seal the stainless steel part. Looks great! Easy remove and replace. Love my stove . It looks like it cost so much more than it did . My oven cooks so much faster than my old gas stove. It preheats in no time . The burners light time you turn them on . The heavy duty grates make even the biggest pots and pans feel secure when you move them around . I chose a stove with all controls at the front. Now I don™€™t have to reach across hot pots to cut on my oven . Haven™€™t tried the steam cleaning yet. Very happy with my stove!!

EXPLODING GLASS DOOR - DO NOT PURCHASE

How is Frigidaire still selling this product? My brand new Electrolux FCFG3062ASA exploded spontaneously when I tried to cook dinner in it for the first time.I've read online that there are over 900 reports of this happening as well as a class action lawsuit. Luckily we were not injured (i usually wear long pants and shoes when I cook) but someone could have gotten seriously hurt. When I called Frigidaire to discuss a replacement, they said that damaged glass is a "cosmetic issue" and is not covered. THIS IS NOT COSMETIC - It's a manufacturer's issue. I am an experienced baker and cook and I now my way around an oven. Why is there no recall on this item? THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY HAZARD

The range ™€œlooks good™€, but is not good quality. When moving one of the racks for cleaning it scratches the silver part which is supposedly stainless steel, your print is on anywhere you touch it, and the oven racks are cheap.

The burners work well, but when I turn on the oven the range emits a high-pitched loud whistling sound. It™€™s like being next to a dentist drill but about 5 times louder. I have to wear earplugs to cook. I™€™ve had 4 technician visits and the fan replaced, but I™€™m told it™€™s just the nature of the machine. Electrolux/frigidare won™€™t replace it or even take it away. The techs tell me all models are like this. If you value your sanity, do not buy any of their ranges unless you are deaf or want to be.
